The Season of Lent and Holy Week

The Stations of the Cross

The Stations will be led every Friday during Lent at Noon by members of the Society of Mary. This is an opportunity to mediate on our Lord’s sorrowful journey to Calvary and the Cross and to reflect on His awesome gift of redemption.

Walk Through Lent with Jesus
Thursdays March 3–April 14

Cindy Davis will lead this study every Thursday from 5:00 pm—6:30 pm in the library. It focuses on Bible reading and discussion about different incidents in Christ’s ministry. To sign up and for more information contact Cindy (cdavis@stjohnsabq.org or call 247-1581).

The main courses will be arranged, and participants will be asked to bring side dishes to share The meal will be planned to feature food of that same region (No desserts, please, as it is Lent).

Jesus: Response to Israel’s Longing

Our Cathedral Bible Studies continue with a study of the Letter to the Hebrews. This important book, rooted in the Old Testament but forceful in its understanding of the ministry of Jesus, invites Christians to reflect on their relationship with Him, and on the witness He provides. This study, led by Fr. Perko, will meet in the Library from 10:30 am until noon on Thursdays, and everyone is welcome. Please bring a Bible and notebook with you. We look forward to reflecting together on this powerful book of Scripture.
