Our annual concert celebrating the life and ministry of The Rt. Rev Richard M. Trelease, Jr. The program will feature the glorious Requiem of Maurice Duruflé and in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Samuel Barber a performance of his Toccata Festiva for organ, strings, trumpet and timpani featuring concert organist Stephen Tharp, in a highly anticipated return visit to the Cathedral.

We end the Sixteenth season with the annual summer performance of Polyphony - Voices of New Mexico featuring major choral works from around the world.
The Five Negro Spirituals by Michael Tippett (New Mexican premiere)
A Work by New Mexican composer Mary Lynn Place Badarak
Songs of Nature featuring works by young rising star Abbie Betinis, works of Stanford Ireland, Vaughan Willis and John Chorbajian.
Songs of Night featuring works by Samuel Barber (his anniversary year 2010) and Eric Whitacre
Songs just for Fun include a Dravidian Dithuramb and some settings by Sweet Honey and the Rock.
